How to Fix the Gap Be Tween Carrerr Counseling Beneficiaries and Non Beneficiaries.
Integration of carrier counselling into educational system, in order to fix the gap between carrier counselling beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries, carrier counselling should be a part of education in primary, secondary education particularly form six students to expose students towards the best and marketable carrier before being enrolled to the higher educations. Therefore, the integration of carrier counselling of carrier counselling in education system would ensure that all students benefiting from carrier counselling. Apart from that also, carrier counselling integrated in education system reduce the gap between rural and urban in accessing counselling services.
Also, Training programs to educators toward carrier counselling would fix the gap between beneficiaries non beneficiaries, carrier counselling programs would be planned to educator mostly teachers to get familiarized with basic carries counselling principles. Educators may use extra time as well as arranged time to expose learners especially ordinary level students towards carriers. This made students to have multiple options before enrolled to higher level of educations, therefore, learners may have multiple options. Hence, a graduates may choice the best carrier as the results the gap between carrier counselling beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries would be fixed.
Advice to Form Six
Once I meet a form six graduates who are preparing to join various colleges in the countty, I would advise as follows: -
Exploration of carrier, a form six students should be exploring carriers by visiting various field to research more about carrier requirements as well as opportunities available for each carrier before making decision or enrolled to colleges. Forexample, a form six graduates would visit fields as industrial fields, agricultural fields particularly financial institutions fields to discover various carrier with their requirements. Therefore, exploration of carriers enables form six graduates to have multiple options as a results can choice best and marketable carrier.
Also, I would advise a form six students to choose the career align with his or her talents or passions, most graduates especially form six due to lack of carrier counselling fail to choose best career aligned with their talents particularly passions. Hence, as time went on they discover that they made mistake in choosing career, therefore, I would advise a form six graduates to choice career aligned with their passions.
